Yesterday, we brought you what Shubhangi Atre and Sudha Chandran think about politics and politicians in India, plus of course their plans for the Voting Day (tomorrow in Mumbai). Shubhangi said, "Voting is very important, our vote decides our future for the next 5 years. So, I request all my fans to not take it the polling day in their region as a holiday but rather go and cast their vote for the right candidate of their choice."
Chandran said, "I want to tell my fans that this is their fundamental right and nobody should lose it. We are electing our people for our benefit and one vote can play a major role. Don't get influenced by anyone. And, please vote wisely and don't waste your vote by selecting NOTA (None Of The Above)."
Now, we bring you our quick chat with Divyanka Tripathi:
Are you gonna vote?
Of course.
From?
Bhopal. That's my hometown. I had applied for an off-day and have been provided.
Any message for the citizens for the voting day?
Please go and vote with your friends and family.
Any offers from political parties to contest in the Ls elections?
I'm not planning to stand for any elections as of now.
Just in case you do, at some point in your life?
If I did, I'd love to work towards a corruption-free India.
Single-largest issue facing India?
Corruption.
What would you like to tell our politicians?
They should promise only what they can provide.
